William Service Joins Mid-Atlantic’s Staff

Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce that Will Service, formerly the program toxicologist and a project manager for the NCDENR Brownfields Program has joined our staff. Will has spent most of his career serving the citizens of North Carolina in environmental epidemiology and public health preparedness where he has had extensive experience in environmental and human health risk assessment. During the last four years in the Brownfields Program Will has developed program vapor intrusion guidelines and provided human health risk assessment consultation for Brownfields Program project managers and program clients in addition to managing his own Brownfields projects.

Mid-Atlantic has established itself as an industry expert in the areas of vapor intrusion and Brownfields redevelopment. Some of our recent Brownfields projects have included innovative techniques in the areas of vapor intrusion, solid waste management, and construction administration. Will will be a valuable addition as we continue to serve our clients in these areas.

"Mid-Atlantic Associates has been a valued source of environmental knowledge and guidance for our company for more than 15 years. Their staff is up-to-date on all environmental areas. Concerning regulation and liaison with governmental authorities, they are on a first name basis with departmental heads. This often eliminates most of the "red tape" generally associated with dealing with government agencies. When we need assistance, we always call Mid-Atlantic."
