New OSHA Tools for Employers and Workers

Many deaths and illnesses can be attributed to chemical exposure in the workplace. OSHA has developed new tools to help employers safeguard workers from exposure to hazardous levels of chemicals. The Safer Chemicals Toolkit is a step-by-step process to help employers and workers reduce chemical exposure by transitioning to safer alternatives. The Annotated Permissible Exposure Limit tables include alternate occupational exposure limts that may serve to better protect workers.
