More fun at Mid-Atlantic! Today we held our second annual Chili Cook Off at lunch. For this annual event, all employees gather at the corporate office for our 8-hour OSHA refresher. During lunch the crock pots of chili are lined up and the tasting begins. Our 2020 lineup was delectable: Got Bucket, Think Heat, Chili Chili Bang Bang, Chucky Chili Surprise, Texas Cowgirl Chili, Mexican Chili, and Charlie’s Chuck Wagon Especial. After much deliberation, the results are in. Our second runner up for best chili this side of the Mississippi is Chili Chili Bang Bang by our Principal Geologist and Raleigh Branch Manager Chuck Hoffman. The title of First Runner Up was awarded to our Principal Geologist Trey Marchant. And the crown title for 2020 Best Chili goes Gretchen Saussy for her Texas Cowgirl Chili!
