Staff/Entry Level Engineer/Geologist

Mid-Atlantic is seeking an entry level engineers or geologists to work in our Raleigh and Charlotte offices.  A great opportunity for an individual to expand his/her experience and work on a variety of challenging projects with experienced environmental professionals.  Projects will span both the public and private sector. Person should be an upcoming/recent graduate or have up to have two (2) years of experience in the field of environmental consulting. Anticipated duties would include assisting on project level work, serving as assistant project manager, performing field activities and report writing on a wide variety of environmental projects (phase I assessments, soil and groundwater assessments, Brownfields, remediation projects, air permitting and indoor air quality,). Candidates should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and be willing to work after regular business hours and weekends, as necessary.

Project Environmental Professional

Mid-Atlantic Associates is seeking a project manager level engineer/geologist to work in our Raleigh office.  A great opportunity for an individual to expand his/her experience and work on a variety of challenging projects with experienced environmental professionals.  Person should be an EIT/PE or GIT/LG and have at least four (4) years of experience in the field of environmental consulting. Anticipated duties include serving as project manager, directing field activities and report writing on a wide variety of environmental projects. Specific experience in the assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater impacted by petroleum is required. Knowledge of and experience working on petroleum UST release sites in North Carolina and familiarity with the North Carolina LUST Trust Fund is required. Candidates must have strong computer skills and data base program use experience. Candidates should have strong organization and communication skills (written and verbal). A willingness to occasionally work after regular business hours and weekends, as workloads demand, is required.

Senior Environmental Professional (IAQ)

Mid-Atlantic is seeking a seasoned environmental professional to work in our Raleigh office.  Projects will span both the public and private sector.  Professional should licensed/accredited in NC and have at least ten (10) years of experience in the field of environmental consulting with specific experience in at least one of the following areas: indoor air quality, air permitting, industrial hygiene, health and safety, and vapor intrusion. A great opportunity for an individual to lead and expand the company’s services in these areas.  Candidates should have strong project management skills, communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to think strategically and effectively market and expand the service line.
